I posted this report in on-line cancer support groups and most folks greatly appreciated the heads up, even added recommendations of what to drink and what to stay away from based on their product knowledge. Some folks, though, got hyped, sometimes even hostile, claiming the report was wrong cause it was commissioned by a short seller. I'm with you, though: bottom line: report was done by the largest and most credentialed food safety and environmental lab network in the world. They gave specific values on specific Celestial teas. They disclosed their highly scientific testing methods. Thanks for having our back. And yes, this is one of those "who woulda known?" moments.

Great post and website! My best friend Kay was diagnosed with cancer not long ago and since she was given the bad news, her outlook on life has completely changed; especially how and what she eats. We always hear about clean eating, and cooking light, but sometimes I don't think it really registers until we're faced with something like cancer. Tips like this post are wonderful for those with cancer, fighting it, or supporting someone who has cancer. I recently bought a cook book for Kay called “Kicking Cancer in the Kitchen” by Annette Ramke & Kendall Scott. She absolutely loves it and the recipes are delicious! Their website, http://thekickingkitchen.com/, is an amazing reference and has a bunch of information; definitely worth checking out! Thanks for this post, I think I'm going to forward it on to Kay!

My best advice--Engage in blogging about something you are passionate about. Yes, it takes massive amounts of time and energy to research and write and edit each piece. I'm a stickler for details and agonize over every word. What makes it satisfying is to hear from people like you. Please spread the word about the blog so that others can benefit, too.

p.s. It also takes no understanding of computer programming. Wordpress makes it extremely easy to figure out, and if you need help, they offer a free support forum staffed by wonderful volunteers. Hip, hip, hooray for Wordpress!
